NORTHERN RAILWAY TO RUN MORE WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS 05/12/2008



Inorder to clear the extra rush of rail passengers during the Christmas and New Year, Northern Railway will run Special trains 0409/0410 between Bareilly- Firozpur and 2484A/2483A between Amritsar-Kochuveli as per the following programme:-

0409/0410 BAREILLY-FIROZPUR-BAREILLY SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN(WEEKLY) :-

The 0409 Bareilly-Firozpur Cantt. special express train will run on every Wednesday from Bareilly at 2.45 p.m. from 10.12.2008 to 07.01.2009 to arrive at Firozpur Cantt. at 5.00 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 0410 Firozpur Cantt.-Bareilly special train will run on every Thursday from Firozpur Cantt. at 10.15 p.m. from 11.12.2008 to 08.01.2009 to arrive at Bareilly at 12.00 noon the next day.

Consisting of one 2 tier AC, one3 tier AC, nine Second Sleeper and 3 General Second Class coaches, the 0409/0410 Bareilly-Firozpur-Bareilly Special Express train will stop at Rampur, Moradabad, Najibabad, Laksar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Jagadhri, Ambala Cantt, Rajpura, Patiala, Dhuri, Bhatinda, Kotkapura & Faridkot stations enroute in both directions

2484A/2483A AMRITSAR-KOCHUVELI-AMRITSAR SUPERFAST (WEEKLY) TRAIN:

The 2484A Amritsar-Kochuveli Superfast special train will run from Amrisar on every Sunday from 14.12.2008 to 28.12.2008 at 6.05 a.m. to arrive at Kochuveli at 3.40 p.m. the third day. In the return direction, the 2483A Kochuveli-Amritsar will run from Kochuveli on every Wednesday at 8.50 a.m. from 17.12.2008 to 31.12.2008 to arrive at Amritsar at 7.35 p.m. the second day.

Consisting of one 2 tier AC, one 3 tier AC, eight Second Sleeper and 8 General Second Class coaches besides pantry car, the 2483A/2484A will stop at Beas, Jallandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Kota, Vadodara, Surat, Panvel, Madgaon, Mangalore, Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Trichur, Ernakulam, Alapuzha, Kayankulam and Kollam Jn. stations enroute in both directions
